INTER Puerta del Sol

After eight days here, we left with a very positive impression. The staff treated us with warmth and real professionalism, and we’re grateful for it. This was my third time at a Catalonia hotel, after two stays in Barcelona, and the service has been just as good in Madrid. Thank you!

Breakfast was a highlight, with lovely service and a top-notch range of choices. We also had a very good room and bed, and the staff were wonderful throughout our three nights, Thursday to Sunday. We arrived early and were able to get into our room before 1 pm. On Sunday, a late checkout until 3 pm was easy to arrange, and I thought the price was very reasonable. If I’m back in Madrid, I’d stay here again. Thanks so much for the lovely service!

For a reasonable price, the location is good and the service is amazing. Mabudo was especially friendly and easy to approach. He was ready to help whenever needed and gave us useful suggestions for places to see in Madrid. Talking with him made the stay more enjoyable and memorable. I’d happily recommend Catalonia Puerta Del Sol.

We could walk to all the main sights we wanted to visit in about 15 minutes, and there were shops and plenty of good places to eat nearby. The room was clean, with a spacious bathroom and plenty of room around the bed, though more frequent deep cleaning, mopping, and attention around the shower would help. I especially liked the large double windows: open, we could hear the city; closed, they blocked the late-night noise and we slept easily. The front desk team were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast had a large buffet, eggs made to order, and incredibly customer-focused service.
