CH Otello Rooms Hotel

Otello rooms has modern rooms and a really good location near the “Opera” metro, which made it easy to visit lots of places in Madrid. There was also a little supermarket right outside, with really affordable prices. I loved my few nights there. Best in Madrid, and highly recommended! 🤗

I was here on a business trip, and it's easy to get around from this well-connected spot. Many tourist sights are close enough to walk to, including Palacio Real, Cathedral de la Almudena, Puerta del sol, Templo de debod, and others. There are restaurants nearby with all kinds of food, plus a supermarket right next door. The rooms were cozy and clean, and location-wise this is the best place.

The location is excellent, right in a central area where you can walk around easily. But we paid almost €200 per night because of a special event in Madrid that week, and the room had some real problems. It came with a safe, mini fridge, TV and air conditioner, though the AC was on a timer and switched off every couple of hours. The blankets had stains and holes, and there were no hand towels, just older, worn bath towels. The bathroom was quite small, and we could hear people walking and chatting in the hallway at night since the room wasn't soundproof.

The location is good. Parking near the hostel is available if you're driving, though it's expensive, and the hotel gives a 20% discount for it. My overall impression of the hostel was good.
