After we got back to our country, they tried to charge us 180 euros for repairing a broken toilet seat, which we had reported as soon as we arrived. They asked us for more photos and videos, and we sent them. Luckily, we had taken photos and videos of the several problems we found on arrival. This is outrageous. It seems to me they operate this way to scam people and get more money from them.
When our vacation was over, they charged us for supposedly lost keys, even though we never had any. The apartment contract says the keys are digital. I've been asking for a refund for over two weeks and haven't heard anything. At check-in, my partner and I had to wait outside for confirmation so we could receive the digital key, despite filling in our details and exact arrival time well in advance. The staff management was terrible, and the sewer smell during our stay was unbearable.
Old, poorly maintained, and the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. They charged me 70 euros for a key they said they'd left me, even though my door used a code. I have photos and emails showing they sent me codes, not keys. While I was leaving the hotel on the train, they called to say they'd deduct 70 euros from my deposit. I called back, and they hung up. Now they won't answer, so all I can do is file a report with the Civil Guard for fraud. The worst I've ever seen.
