Hotel Gran Legazpi

Breakfast was exactly the same for all three days, and could use more variety. 🥺 The air conditioning also didn't cool the room enough, so the night was hot and uncomfortable.

There’s a bus stop right outside, and getting to the city center was easy. The room was newer and more modern than it looked in the photos, and the cleanliness was fine. The only real problem was the noise in the morning. Staff chatted in the corridor for about half an hour and played something loudly, so I had to get up early.

The only things that disappointed me were the lack of eggs at breakfast and the chemical smell in the elevator. Otherwise, it’s very good value for the price, and I’d stay again. The staff were friendly, the air conditioning worked well, and the large rooms had great views from the 6-7 floors. The rooms have also been renovated recently. The metro is close, with just a few stops to the center or Atocha station.

The staff were friendly and warm, and helped us from check-in through check-out. The best thing about the hotel is its location near Metro station Legazpi, which makes it easy to get to the city centre, popular attractions, and restaurants. It's 4-5 stops on line 3. Inside, though, things felt dated and worn. Our room was particularly small and cramped. The bathroom cleanliness was disappointing, with a broken shower door and traces of mold that made me question the hotel's maintenance. Breakfast covered the basics, but the selection lacked variety and felt limited.
