The staff were super friendly and had lots of suggestions for sightseeing and places to eat and drink. It's very close to metro gran via, with plenty of places open late within walking distance. Hotel Alistana was a nice change from other pensions we've stayed in. The room felt like a hotel room, very private, clean and quiet, with its own bathroom and air conditioning. Just check the details: check-in is at a hostal around the corner.

The rooms are dated and really small, though clean. It's in a great location, and at such a low price it's hard to complain.

The rooms are warm, and the location is really good, right in the center of Madrid.

The room had an old-fashioned feel and a nice balcony. Service was friendly.
