The location is superb, just 3 mins from Gran Via metro, but that was the one good thing for me. The room was in a dreadful state of disrepair, with even an old fridge in it. Check-in was stressful because the staff spoke only Spanish. The walls are PAPER THIN, and hallway noise was shocking. There’s no space in the room or bathroom, so if you’re larger, forget it. I’d prepaid or I would have left. It’s way overpriced, and forget sleeping. Worst place I’ve ever stayed.

I’m only in my first week of a four-week stay, so check with me later. So far, it’s the best location in the city, right in the middle of a retail and pedestrian area, with shops, bars, and restaurants all around. The rooms are quiet, and they’re serviced daily. Jerry the housekeeper is very nice. I share a bathroom, but I’ve never seen the person who shares it, so it feels private. I’d stay here again.

The owner was extremely nice and made us feel welcome. Our room and bathroom were lovely, and the shower was excellent. It’s right among the shops in the center, but we couldn’t hear the noise from our room.

We were very happy with our stay. The rooms are a little tiny, but there were three of us and we had everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better, and the hosts were kind and very helpful.

Even with a reservation, we couldn't get into the room until 2PM/14:00. And carrying luggage up to the hostal on the third floor was awful since there's no elevator.
