Main Street Madrid

The staff were so nice and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. It's a modern, very clean hostal with a private room and bathroom, all the necessities, plus bottled water and sparkling wine on arrival. The Nescafé wasn't to my taste. The location didn't suit my reasons for visiting, though it's great for shopping and shows, with excellent public transport just steps away. There was a bit of street noise at night. For the price, I'd stay again, but would prefer somewhere nearer the old town center.

We really loved staying here. The room had plenty of space and fresh air, and I could shower without turning sideways! The reception staff were so helpful too. We'd definitely stay again.

We were just 3-5min from lots of shops and restaurants, right in the city center. The receptionists were really friendly and pointed out attractions worth seeing on a map. The clean rooms had everything we needed: kettle, TV, coffee, tea, hair dryer, cups, and plates. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Carlos and Carmen were the best part of our stay. My best friend and I felt at home with them, and they welcomed us with a mini champagne bottle and gave us great tips for getting around. Their daughter also told us where to go party. We're very grateful to them for our time at Main Street Hostel. The location was a 10/10, with every major tourist attraction within a 10-minute walk. The bedroom was lovely and clean, and had a cute balcony. We couldn't have asked for a better hostel in Madrid!
