It's in a really handy spot, close to shops, public transport and everything else. The room is cute and has a little fridge. There was a minor issue with the shower water, but otherwise it was nice.

6/10
The room was small, so don't expect much space, but it was quiet enough for us to rest without street noise. This is a small hotel or hostal right in central Madrid, and the location is hard to beat. The walls are extremely thin, though, and we could hear guests in other rooms. Wi-Fi was very slow.

The location is good, but they don't even provide a tiny table and chair for eating. Dorms at the same price manage to offer that.

Don't let the word "hostal" put you off. The standards are hotel-like, and the place feels friendly, safe, clean and comfortable. It's a great deal, with easy access to the gay area and central sights. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Madrid.

The room was clean, nice and felt safe. It would be much easier to find the property if its name were displayed on the building.
