ibis Madrid Norte Las Tablas Hotel (Opening August 2025)

Las Tablas worked well for business, though it was out of the way for us since we spent a lot of time getting to the main parts of the city. There’s a large el Corte ingles nearby, along with a hipercor mall, and plenty of restaurants and grocery shops within a 10-15 minute walk. Our room was nice, with a view of the BBVA office. Breakfast was good, and the bathroom was especially spacious.

We arrived at 3 am and could walk in, book a room, and check in because the front desk is open around the clock. Pets are allowed for an extra fee, and being right beside pet Hospital Veterinario Puchol was really useful. The whole team did their best to make us feel welcome. Julián was fantastic when we had a difficult situation, sorting it out with understanding and diplomacy.

Breakfast was outstanding, with eggs and bacon among the options, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d requested a quiet room on the top floor and got one. The room was comfortable, with a firm mattress, spacious shower, and blackout curtains. Thanks very much!

The staff were mostly very kind, and after the hotel replied I understood the situation better. I hope they can keep improving things. Starting something from zero isn’t easy, and it takes time for everything to go smoothly. I’m visiting Madrid next month and will stay here again, so I’m changing my rating from 2 to 4. Thanks. I had a couple of serious problems, though: there was no mini fridge or water service, and I was charged at check-in even though I’d already paid through the booking site. This kind of double charge has happened before. I emailed and called several times afterward, but nobody replied. That was a big miss. The staff seem good as people, but the company side of things wasn’t handled well.
