The Club lounge access was worth it for us: it included afternoon tea, happy hour, and breakfast. We had a comfortable room with a terrace and tea and coffee facilities, and check-in was quick and easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When the aircon gave us trouble, someone from maintenance fixed it within 10 minutes. A lovely Madrid weekend getaway. I’d recommend the hotel.

After a month backpacking around Europe, walking into our suite-like room was such a lovely surprise. We’d been given a complimentary upgrade, much more than the slightly larger room or bathroom I expected. The bed was enormous, and both the room and restroom had great ventilation. I also appreciated the actual toiletries, complimentary water, handwritten note, and personalized welcome message on the TV. The staff made us feel looked after from the door onward, and check-in was welcoming. Of all the hotels we stayed in around Europe, this was by far the best. It’s close to train stations and eateries, approximately 15-20+ mins. We have one night left before heading home, and I’m sad to leave after such an amazing stay. Thanks to the staff for making our final European stop so memorable. We’d definitely stay again if we return to Madrid.

It was memorable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Breakfast stood out, with fresh pastries, live counters, quality ingredients, a wide selection, and excellent service. The hotel is in a sophisticated, well-connected area, so getting to major attractions was easy while the surroundings still felt peaceful. Our room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out, with timeless charm and very comfortable bedding after a day exploring Madrid. From arrival, the hospitality felt genuinely welcoming, warm, and professional. Hotel InterContinental Madrid pairs classic European elegance with modern comfort. A luxurious, seamless stay, and highly recommended for comfort, class, and impeccable service.
