The location worked well for walking into the city center, and the WiFi was quick and steady. The shower also had hot water. The apartment was meant for four, though, and felt too cramped for that many people. There wasn't any free surface to set things down, either in the room or bathroom. The sofa bed was rough to sleep on: its mattress was thin, visibly stained, and had a bar pressing under your lower back. The electric shades would only lower, not raise. For cooking, there was just one small pan, and the only drinkware was two different cups or glasses.

Stefan was a lovely host, kind and ready to help. The apartment itself is roomy, furnished in a modern style, and has what you need. It's also very close to the center and main attractions. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid.

I accidentally left my wallet in a drawer after a small mix-up, and the host found it and got it back to me without any trouble. I'm so grateful. That kind of honesty and helpfulness is rare, and the host's thoughtfulness really made our stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped, just as described. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place for warm, dependable hospitality.

We were eventually moved to the larger apartment after two days, and staff replied very quickly over WhatsApp. Still, the replacement had two areas divided only by a few vertical wooden slats, so having an online meeting without disturbing the other person was impossible. The soap dispenser didn't work, there were no bins or rubbish bags, and coffee meant using a filter machine. There was a washing machine, but nowhere to hang clothes to dry. The initial room was also wrong: we paid €126 a night for a two-room apartment with a desk and washer, but got a one-room place without either. We saw that this unit cost €77, while the one we'd booked was €86.
