Madrid SmartRentals Chueca

The sofa bed was broken and very dirty when we arrived. We sent photos and reported it, but the property didn’t reply or offer any solution, even after two days. My family was disgusted, and I was embarrassed since this was their first day after a long-haul flight. Truly a terrible place to stay.

The apartment was sparkling clean and in a great location. The bedroom was good, and the bed was super comfortable. The shower worked well, though the fan in the internal bathroom didn’t. The kitchen area was also internal and not somewhere I’d choose to sit and eat. It could use repairs and an upgrade. Chueca is a great area, but next time I’d pick a quieter apartment.

The beds were comfortable, and the hotel felt like a small apartment. Self check-in worked great. My main problem was making the payment in the app with such poor internet service. We had to go to a place 10 minutes from our room to pay. They responded quickly, though, which helped.

There was everything we needed in this fully equipped apartment. The kitchen was especially good, with a full-size cooker rather than just two rings, plus a toaster, kettle, sandwich maker, liquidiser, and coffee maker. It even had a washing machine. The bed was comfortably firm, just how I like it, and there was a good shower with endless hot water. Air conditioning in both the bedroom and front room, and super-fast WiFi. First class all around, I’d recommend it.
