I picked this for being close to the main metro interchange, but once I got there I barely needed the metro. Most of the city was easy to explore on foot, apart from the airport. It’s central, good value, comfortable, and decorated with care, though it isn’t a luxury place. I felt safe even walking back from bars at 2 am, with a police station just two buildings away. The price seemed almost too good to be true, so I’m glad I gave it a try. Great for exploring the city on foot, and I’d recommend it. The bathroom is clean and the fixtures are new, though the room is small. Noise from outside didn’t bother me or my neighbors, but I can see that it might depend on the situation. Earplugs are provided, though I usually bring my own silicone ones when I travel. It may not suit everyone looking for somewhere fancy.

The room was compact but thoughtfully laid out, and even had a small balcony. I liked the snacks, shared fridges, coffee, and tea in the common room too. There’s no in-person check-in: you’re asked to register online before arrival, then your key is waiting in the common area. The setup feels more like a short-term apartment rental than a typical hotel, but I enjoyed its quirks and would consider staying again.

The street outside gets lively, and you can hear it from inside. Even so, we really enjoyed our stay at this charming little B&B. It’s in a perfect location, and we’d gladly come back next time we’re in Madrid.

The room was small, but plenty big enough for two people on a short holiday. We stayed four nights and found the location perfect. There was some night noise, but it didn’t bother us, and they had earplugs available. For this price and location, we couldn’t ask for more. We’d definitely recommend it and stay again.

Madridcito was a lovely place to stay. The bed was delicious, there’s an elevator, the location is excellent, and the staff communicate really well. The shared room is useful too, with a fridge, tea, coffee, a microwave, and plenty of other things for guests. One morning, two couples were using the communal areas at 6am, even though that’s meant to be a quiet time so other guests aren’t disturbed. The walls are thin and we could hear everything. I hope the staff put up a LARGE sign so everyone knows when noise is allowed.
