The reviews on Booking were only average, and the Google ones were pretty negative, so we were nervous before the stay. The required deposit also made us skeptical. But it turned out much better than we expected. My mother stayed there in early October, and everything went smoothly. She found the room perfectly adequate, even though she can be particular about accommodation. Getting in was easy, and her deposit was refunded as soon as she left. Based on how it went for us, we can recommend the place.

We stayed in Apt. 1 on floor 3, with the ground floor counted as 0, and cash and belongings were stolen from our room while my husband and I were out exploring for the day. The deadbolt was faulty, and management took 22 hours to give any real response. We filed a police report, so the Policía Nacional has a record of a robbery there. Try to find somewhere else. If you can’t, DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN THE ROOM. I think we only still had our passports to get home because we carried them with us.

*STAY AWAY* I was stuck inside on the 3rd floor because the door leading to a corridor with five rooms was blocked. A technician came to fix it after 30mn. In the photos you can see the handle on the floor. I tried to use it, but it kept popping out of the hole. I didn’t want to risk being trapped again at night or during an emergency, or miss another appointment or my flight, so I cancelled my reservation through booking.com. Since I cancelled, I couldn’t leave a review there. The listing description was inaccurate. There was a long, dark corridor and kitchenette leading to a dark bedroom with a frosted-glass window. The place smelled strongly of old, cold tobacco. The owner refused to waive the cancellation fees despite two mediation attempts by booking.com, claiming the conditions were unforeseeable. That seems quite foreseeable to me. The door problem must have been ignored for a long time, judging by how long the sheet stuck to it had been there. It’s not even worth one star, but Google doesn’t offer a *ZERO STAR* rating.

DO NOT BOOK THIS APARTMENT!!!!! They kept my 200 Euro damage deposit and DIDN’T RETURN IT!!! They’re still claiming the transfer went through, but I haven’t received a cent in five months!! This feels dishonest and unethical, like they’re taking advantage of customers. I urge people to avoid this hotel completely. They can’t be trusted with your money.
