Modern 2 BD Duplex in Front of Atocha Train Station Atocha II

We had one of our favorite meals of our two-week Spain trip at the hotel restaurant. The food was flavorful and high quality, with dishes we hadn’t seen at other restaurants in Spain, and the wine list was exceptional. My partner and I started our travels with two nights here, and it was a highlight of both our lodging and dining. The hotel is comfortable, with a lovely mix of old-world charm and modern style. The bed, dressing area, and bathroom were especially comfortable. It’s right by the metro and train station, but the station didn’t disturb our sleep. Museums and parks are a short walk away, and taxis are easy to find outside. Drivers know the hotel by name, which makes getting back easy. The hotel staff were wonderful. Our waiter, whose name I can’t remember, was from France and was kind, funny, and gave us great recommendations. I’m especially grateful to Raquel, housekeeping, and the front desk team for working so diligently to reunite me with something I left in the room before leaving Spain. Raquel went above and beyond and made me feel cared for. My thanks to the staff, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Mercedes, the concierge, pointed us to a fabulous nearby restaurant and made the reservation for us. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and fully bilingual. My wife and I had a great stay at the Only YOU Atoche hotel. The location is central, with the train station across the street and a pleasant short walk to El Prado museum and restaurants. There was construction on the street, but it was quiet at night and we slept well. The hotel also has a nicely equipped gym. We recommend it without hesitation. Marc B.

The location near Atocha Station makes getting around Madrid easy, with good connections across the city and easy walks to the Prado and Reina Sofía. The hotel faces Retiro Park and combines a polished urban feel with comfortable rooms, modern amenities, plush bedding, and thoughtful touches. There are lively shared spaces, including the lobby, a café-style restaurant serving Spanish and international food, and a rooftop terrace with broad city views that often hosts events. It’s a stylish boutique hotel that offers a comfortable and convenient base for both business and leisure trips.

We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant one night, but it was disappointing and expensive compared with brunch. My hake was under-seasoned, and the fries weren’t crispy, as if they’d been warmed in an air fryer. Jonay, our server, was attentive, friendly, and charming. I stayed with my daughter for three nights in November 2025. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a safe and a minibar to keep drinks cold. The shower was large and powerful. Our room had no natural light, though I imagine a room with big windows and a view costs a little more. We had brunch there on Saturday after arriving. It was tasty and good value, with three courses and a buck’s fizz, or mimosa, though dessert took a while to arrive. The hotel is steps from Atocha metro and across the road from the 203 airport bus, so it’s conveniently located. Staff were cordial and polite.
