Morar Apartments Malasaña

We were there as a family with four children, and the apartment was in great condition, with only minor details that didn’t get in the way of enjoying it. They welcomed us with a bottle of wine, and the service was excellent both on WhatsApp and in person. The location was ideal for exploring the tourist areas. The kitchen was well equipped with an oven, stovetop, large refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer/dryer, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The central air conditioning worked perfectly, although the bedroom unit didn’t heat as well. There was some street noise on weekend nights, and the windows could use better soundproofing. I imagine this might not be an issue in an apartment facing the back or on the top floor. We still slept very well. The bed and pillows were excellent. Highly recommended. Enjoy Madrid!

A clean, very comfortable place to relax, with excellent service. It has everything you need if you want to cook at home. Highly recommended.

We’re a family of three, and the kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms suited what we needed. We like buying fresh fruit and vegetables at local markets and cooking at least one meal ourselves, including finding ingredients that are hard to get in Korea. The central location made shopping easy, and there were plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. I loved seeing the Spanish sky from the living room veranda each morning. The bedding and interior were clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of towels, unlike at places we’d stayed before. The kitchen was fully equipped, with a washing machine and dishwasher, which is handy on a long trip. They left wine as a welcome drink and even put chocolate in the bedroom. One downside was a lingering sewer-like smell that came and went. My mom and I have sensitive noses, and it kept waking us at night. The apartment sleeps up to six, with a double bed in each bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room that wasn’t unfolded for us but could sleep two.

Really comfortable and clean, with excellent hygiene. Loved how central it was, just a five-minute walk from Gran Vía.
