New Point Madrid Opera

We were five, three adults and two small kids, and the room was a good size for us. It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The location made it easy to walk to shops and good food, and the metro and buses were close by too. Highly recommend.

The main drawback for my family was the noise. The hotel faces a street, including rooms at street level, and there's no soundproofing. We could hear people leaving bars and construction starting at 7am, which kept interrupting our sleep and made the stay much harder. Otherwise, there's a lot to like. Everything is within walking distance, the staff speak perfect English, and the rooms are nice and clean. The muffins and OJ at breakfast, plus a glass of wine in the evening, are thoughtful little touches. If street noise doesn't bother you, it's a great hotel.

The room was spacious and cozy, and the staff were attentive and very friendly. In the morning they offered free black coffee, hot water, juice, mini muffins, and cookies, then a glass of wine at night. We stayed for two nights and could do everything on foot because of the hotel's location. The only trouble was getting the air conditioning set to a temperature we liked.

The service was good, and the location and value are excellent. The big issue during my mid-August 2025 stay was construction noise from a site just up the street. It was a full gut renovation of a building, and the noise was extremely intrusive from early morning through the afternoon. I wasn't told about it ahead of time, so I'd ask whether the work will still be going on during your stay.
