The location is excellent, but the cleanliness and the way management handled our room request left us deeply disappointed. Our friends found male hair in their bathroom as soon as they arrived, and our sink was visibly dirty and hadn’t been cleaned properly. For this price, that standard was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I was traveling with another couple and realized I’d booked the wrong room type. I asked to change it and even offered to drop breakfast to make up for the cost. On Hotels.com, the price difference was about €1, but the hotel wanted an extra €60 per night. When I asked for a supervisor, she was very rude. She checked the prices on her own phone to prove her point, saw they were identical except for the €1 difference, then quickly tried to hide the screen. Her answer was, “we don't control prices.” To avoid spoiling the trip for my friends, I agreed to pay €180 more for three nights. They called it an upgrade, but the new room had the same décor and layout and was maybe one square metre bigger. It felt like they thought they could pass off a fake upgrade. The location may be good, but the service and lack of cleanliness ruined the stay, and it wasn’t worth the money.

Juan Jose and Beatriz were professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout my visit. They made everything feel smooth and enjoyable, and the service at NH Madrid Hotel Colón was fantastic. Highly recommend!

After a long day in Toledo, we came back to NH Collection Madrid Colon and Enrique looked after us at the Bar. We relaxed over tapas and a glass of crisp, chilled Prosecco. A perfect way to end the day. As always, the staff at NH Collection Madrid Colon are outstanding. They make us feel at home and very well looked after. Thank you, NH Collection Madrid Colon!

Whenever I’m in Madrid for work or a getaway, this is my favorite place to stay. It’s easy to walk all around Salamanca and Recoletos from here, and the location is great. The staff are attentive and happy to help with whatever I need. I’ll keep coming back to this hotel on future visits.

The thing that stands out most is the service. Every staff member was professional, welcoming, respectful, and very accommodating. The location was perfect, breakfast was superb, and the rooms were spacious and very clean. Service, quality, and standards all felt worthy of a five-star hotel. Unless I stay at The Ritz, this will be my choice every time I return to Madrid. Thanks for a great stay.
