The Metro, especially the Blue, #1 line, is right outside the hotel, and the staff were very pleasant. I was glad to leave, though. At €200 per night, the experience was far too expensive, and the dark interior made the place feel unwelcoming. The reception and foyer were cramped. My room was particularly small, with one and a half black walls, a wine-colored wall, an enormous bedhead with curved wings, and full-length dark curtains. The bathroom was lovely, bright, and calming by comparison. The tiny fridge was awkward to reach inside a wardrobe whose door couldn’t open all the way. The bar, up some steps as I recall, carried on the dark theme and didn’t seem clean enough. There was candle wax on nearby surfaces, and the electric candles on the walls and fabric-covered seats needed cleaning. Maybe the decor was meant to look distressed, but that was the impression it gave. The drinks selection was very limited.

This was our third stay, and they surprised me for my birthday with balloons and a lovely card. The rooms are very nice, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, with the train just around the corner. We always have the amazing breakfast, and the restaurant is very good for dinner and drinks too.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and even offered umbrellas when it rained. The hotel building and rooms are beautiful, with decor that makes them feel cosy. My room had a huge shower, a nice wardrobe, minibar, safe, and complimentary coffee and tea. There’s nothing lacking. Cleaning is daily or whenever you want it. The location is good, within walking distance of the heart of town, and a Subway station is right outside. Highly recommended, great value.

We’ve only been checked in for a few hours and still have two nights to go, but we’re already thrilled. The reception staff were amazing and had great suggestions for nearby things to do. Our room is spacious and modern, with a good street view and barely any street noise. There are two toothbrushes and toothpaste waiting, which was perfect after a long train ride, plus a shaving kit in case you forgot one at home. We’re glad we chose this hotel and hope others do too.

The staff were friendly, and the little hotel café has a nice charm to it. The rooms are pretty basic, though, and it feels a bit pricey for what you get. The WiFi was terrible. It's okay overall.
