Oriente Palace Apartments

The breakfast downstairs was hearty and delicious, and it kept us going until a late lunch each day. The café/restaurant has a €10 breakfast arrangement with the hotel, and the restaurant is beautiful with superb service. Our room had thoughtful details, including a crystal chandelier, a window-side sitting area, and a great bathroom with a magnifying mirror. It was comfortable too, with French doors onto a balcony and another lovely window overlooking the manicured park and Royal Palace. Housekeeping came daily with fresh towels, linens, coffee, and water. Mariana made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived at the pretty lobby. She’d sent clear, helpful information and tips beforehand, then showed us to our first-floor room. “Beautiful” is a word I’ve used a lot here because that really was our experience at Oriente Palace Apartments, in both the hotel and its location.

The garden view made the climb to our fourth-floor room easier to take, and Mariana even gave us complimentary drinks because the lift wasn’t working. She was incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean, the location was really good, and we had a very pleasant stay. Thanks for everything!

You can walk to pretty much everywhere from here, and the location is the best part. The rooms could use more attention to detail, though, and they aren't very private. Voices outside came through so clearly they sounded like they were in the room.

It was peaceful and quiet inside despite being so close to the sights, restaurants, and other attractions. The owners were kind and attentive, and you can tell they care about guests. Getting around was easy because the location is just a few minutes from the main sights. Our room was spotless and well maintained, with little details that made it feel thoughtfully arranged. A wonderful stay, and an easy recommendation for comfort and convenience.
