Getting in with luggage is difficult, especially for older or disabled guests, because there are big stairs and no easy way up. The apartment and hotel don’t have a washing machine either. Inside, the finish is poor and cold air comes through the windows even when they’re shut. When we arrived at 8 PM, the bathroom smelled strongly of garlic, and room service didn’t show up until 11:30 PM. That was unacceptable. A very disappointing stay.

The online check-in gives you your own gate and studio codes, so you can come and go as you like. There’s no daily service, but if you ask for something, a staff member, maybe just one, will bring it. Breakfast is continental with cold cuts, and I think it’s worth having. The location is hard to beat: you can walk to the sights, two metro stations, shops, groceries, and around a hundred restaurants. Seriously.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly. I also found the facilities well cared for, with a pleasant, welcoming feel throughout the apartment hotel. The service and comfort made my visit enjoyable. I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it.

The welcome kit, lockers, and very central location were good. The room, though, was unbearably hot. In November the AC was apparently in “winter mode,” whatever that means, and only blew hot air even after I switched it to cool and set it to 16C. Customer service told me to open the window and said it was cold outside, but it really wasn’t. They only offered a fan at 3 am after I sent frustrated WhatsApp messages because I couldn’t sleep. The fan did nothing, and the apartment still felt like a sauna. I couldn’t sleep. Don’t book here if you need a cool room at night. Absolutely terrible, go somewhere with working ventilation.
