When I got sick one day, through no fault of the hotel, the staff arranged a doctor to visit that same day at no charge. That was mind-blowing as an American. Even across a shift change, the new staff already knew what was going on and carried on helping me just as well. The hotel is in a pleasant, less touristy neighborhood, near the metro and a few stops from the airport. I’d absolutely stay here again.
Booking through Booking.com turned into a frustrating mess. I updated my card twice and checked all the details, but the hotel still wanted a different credit card. When I said they could either accept mine or cancel the reservation, they cancelled it. Maybe that worked out for the best, since I booked The Westin Grand just around the corner instead. Very poor showing for an NH Hotel.
The staff I met were all friendly, helpful, and very professional. It’s a good base for a weekend, in a not too busy area with quick public transport into the center. Real Madrid Stadium is within walking distance too. Had a great stay in September and would recommend it to anyone exploring Madrid.
I was here for a company meeting and everything went smoothly, just as planned. The facilities were clean, the food was good, and the service was great.
The rooms were spotless and really comfortable, and the staff made me feel welcome. I also enjoyed the breakfast. A very good hotel with lovely service, and I’d happily return.
