The owners were really nice, cleaned up each day while I was out, and gave me tips on the best places to eat. It’s right in the centre, and the hostel had everything I needed. The only issue was my light making a humming sound, but everything was clean and it was easy to enjoy my stay.
The room is small, with a bed, little table, hangers, and sink. It’s very close to Plaza Jacinto Benavente. The downside is there’s only one shared bathroom and toilet.
The rooms are small, nobody on staff speaks a word of English, and the Wi-Fi is painfully slow, like it’s still 1995. There’s also a strange smell in the lobby. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
The owners were especially kind and attentive, and I’d choose this guesthouse again on future trips. It’s close to all the tourist spots, with the metro and Atocha train station within walking distance. The guesthouse is very clean and has everything you need. My room faced the courtyard, so there was no street noise.
Right in the city center, it’s easy to explore on foot, and the metro and bus stops are nearby. I traveled alone and felt comfortable from the moment I arrived, thanks to the very friendly owner. The place is simple and family-run. My room had its own bathroom and was spotless. The bright white sheets and fluffy towels stood out to me as signs of cleanliness. I’m sure I’ll stay here again when I return to Madrid.
