Pensión Mollo

The location was fantastic, with attractions and places to eat nearby, and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere, cozy rooms, and was well maintained. I stayed at Pensión Mollo on my own, and the caretaker’s kindness and attentiveness really made the visit memorable. They welcomed me as soon as I arrived, made sure I was comfortable, and were always ready to help with anything I needed or suggest things to do in the area. I’d happily recommend this hotel to solo travellers looking for a wonderful stay.

The owner was very nice and helpful, and the location was great. The room was really modest, with hardly anything in it. The value for the money was okay.

My room had a balcony and a wider-than-usual single bed, and the price was very good. It’s budget accommodation, but the soundproofing was excellent. The location is convenient for the main art galleries, and within a 10-minute walk of Atocha station, the airport bus link, the metro, and local buses. Just be prepared to climb four flights of stairs.

It was nice and clean, which is the most important thing in a hotel. I’d have given it five stars if the receptionist spoke English and there hadn’t been a strange smell in the corridor. I think it was there because of the bugs, so I can’t complain. It’s a good option near the Prado at a reasonable price.
