Pestana CR7 Gran Vía Madrid

Everyone was so friendly, which was what I liked most. Paula from guest relations deserves a thank you, as does Maria at reception, who answered all my questions sincerely. We were warmly welcomed, and a staff member helped us with our luggage up the stairs at the entrance. Our premium room was a good size, clean, and smelled lovely. Breakfast was very good too. We chose the hotel for its location and have been able to explore everything on foot. There’s paid parking nearby. Guests staying briefly can get a discount coupon from the hotel, while longer stays can use a short-term subscription to park more cheaply.

Denis really made my stay. He handled my late checkout and was thorough and great throughout. The hotel’s location is central, close to the shopping and landmarks, and the room service food from the restaurant above was delicious. The rooms are very clean, but also very small. On my own I managed fine, though my large suitcase made it tight. With family or another person, I think you’d need a bigger room or several rooms. The amenities were nice but below what I’ve had at other hotels for this price. Still, it was a good stay, and I’m planning to try the NYC location on a future trip.

Great service and delicious drinks. Jose Manuel was our server and did a fantastic job. He brought our drinks right away, switched on the heat, and even took time to look for my lost gloves while there were plenty of other people to serve. It was a really good experience.

The night light is one of the best I’ve seen, clearly the designer put some thought into it. The room was surprisingly clean too, which isn’t something I often see in European hotels. A small kettle and a heated toilet seat would be nice additions.
