The location is the one good thing here. For €270 for two nights, I expected better conditions and amenities, especially when nearby hotels I’m staying in now cost half as much and are twice the standard. Breakfast was €10.50 for ham, cheese, a few bananas and cold toast that had been toasted earlier. AWFUL AND GROSS, and far too sparse for that price. We had no hot water for showers on the second day. There’s no kettle or coffee sachets in the room, and instead of a normal duvet there were scratchy, heavy, apparently unwashable blankets over low-quality linen. The lift also takes ages, always stopping on the first floor before going up. The first night we were kept awake by banging and keys rattling in the neighboring rooms. Then the rain started, and staff had left metal equipment below our window that banged like a drum all night. The next afternoon we asked to change rooms because we hadn’t slept at all. We were abruptly told no and blamed for not asking sooner, even though the night receptionist had said they were full, so changing rooms had never been an option. VERY DISAPPOINTING. AVOID.

The staff made my stay especially good. The front desk agents worked hard, were professional, and clearly wanted guests to enjoy their vacations. I really appreciated the help and attention they gave me, and I’ll definitely come back. The rooms are small but have what you need to sleep well, with comfy beds and good bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent too.

The location is good, but that’s about it. We had loud music on Friday night, as if there were some kind of party upstairs, and the Wi-Fi was basically unusable. That’s a deal breaker for international travelers. Maybe we just got a bad room, but I wouldn’t recommend the place. I’d only stay here on a tight budget.

Sonia provided excellent service, and the breakfast lady always had everything ready on time. The location is spot on, and the rooms were clean and well kept. We were on a business trip, so parking and breakfast mattered most. We selected both on Booking.com because the hotel appeared to offer them, but on arrival we were charged €36 for parking that wasn’t the hotel’s, since it has no parking, and another €22 for breakfast. It was disappointing to find those extra costs. Maybe the mix-up wasn’t your fault, but I would have offered a complimentary breakfast. I used to assist a hotel GM, and keeping customers happy was the most important thing to me.
