We spent a long weekend here and found the city center attractions easy to reach on foot. It’s a little hard to find because it’s inside an apartment building. There seemed to be a lift, though we took the stairs to the second floor. The rooms are a bit dated but perfectly clean, and it was warm when we visited in January, which was good.
Good value and a great location, though the rooms could use better upkeep.
The room was a little small, but that didn’t really bother us. It’s on the second floor of an old building, and was very quiet at night. The police station is right across from the building, and the hot water is really hot. The best part is the location, it’s easy to walk almost everywhere. We’d use this hotel again if we return to Madrid!
It can be a little hard to find: it’s on the second floor between a pharmacy and a comic store. The place has a kitchen, and the microwave and fridge are free to use. The cleaning staff do a great job, and the receptionists are very friendly. After a Moroccan guy robbed me and stole my phone in Barcelona, a receptionist helped print maps and set up my new phone.
The room was about as small as they come, but that was fine since it was only for resting. It stayed really quiet, especially at night. Everything was lovely and clean, the maid made the bed each day, and it had a comfy bed, air conditioning, and a good hot shower.
