The Exterior Deluxe 2 Bedroom Apt seemed promising when I first walked in, but the stay turned into a disaster. There was a very strong cigarette smell throughout, and the hot water never lasted more than a couple of minutes. The unit was strangely hot even with the heater off, despite it being February in Madrid. The worst part was getting help: the WhatsApp number only led to a useless automated chatbot, my multiple emails went unanswered, and nobody picked up when I called. Stay far away.

We were there with our two young kids, and the apartment suited us really well. It was much bigger than we’d expected, with practical modern decor and everything we needed. The showers were great, the AC worked well, and the location was fantastic. We’d happily stay again.

We spent two weeks in the ground-floor one-bedroom apartment, and the value and location were hard to beat. The bedroom is at the back and gets completely dark with the shutters closed, almost like a sensory deprivation chamber. The kitchen has a full set of equipment and a washing machine, but no dryer. The shower has strong flow and very hot water, and the staff were charming and attentive. A few things could be better: the thermostat is complicated and doesn’t work well, and the radiator seems to switch on at odd times without being linked to it. The sleeper sofa is uncomfortable, the lobby key locker needs an internet connection, and there’s nowhere on site to leave luggage. Still, I’d recommend it.

The rooms were quiet, and the location was really nice. A good place to relax.
