The location made getting around Madrid so easy, with a supermarket about 20 steps away and Gran Vía another 20 steps beyond that. We stayed three nights at Slow Suits Gran Vía, and the apartment was roomy, spotless, and quiet inside despite the noise outside. The internet was reliable, the appliances were in good shape and sufficient for our needs, and the water pressure was fantastic. It felt comfortable to unwind there after sightseeing. There’s no front desk, but management stayed responsive and attentive, and everything went smoothly. We were very pleased and would recommend it. We’ll be back.

The locations are great, but the WiFi kept cutting out and there’s no A/C. What really did it for me was the charger I left behind. I emailed to ask them to check for it and hold it so I could collect it later. They first said they’d found it, then later said that was wrong. I won’t stay with them again.

We liked having what felt like a whole apartment for the price, and the location was handy for Gran Vía, the city center, and a nearby metro. Two bathrooms were a real plus, and the kitchen even had things like oil and coffee. But the condition and cleanliness let it down: the floors, walls, and furniture were worn, there were damp marks in the bathroom, and we found hair in the shower tray. The beds weren’t comfortable either. On Saturday night, with our window facing the street, people arguing and other noise kept us awake all night. We didn’t sleep at all during our two-night weekend at Slow Suites CHUECA.
