For what I paid, the hotel was satisfactory for one night, and the location was excellent, just a few minutes from the Prado. The room was incredibly cheap, so I didn’t expect much. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bedding and towels seemed clean. But we had to share a bathroom, and its broken lock was unacceptable to me. The rooms also had no curtains, which I consider a necessity.

I’ve never seen a hostel like this, omg. The Wi-Fi was no good, and there was no real window, just a tiny one about the size of my finger up near the top. You could hear everything from the other rooms through the wall on the left. It was on the third floor with no lift. For that price, absolutely not.

We booked at the last minute and paid a small fortune for one night. Getting in was easy, the staircase is beautiful, and Atocha station is within walking distance. After that, though, it was dreadful. The shared bathroom had none of the basic necessities, there was no soundproofing from noise inside or outside, and the internet didn’t work. To top it off, there were boogers smeared on the wall. If you’re booking at the last minute, save yourself the headache and try somewhere else for a little more money.

Clean rooms, a great location, and low rates. They’re perhaps a bit small, but it’s a good deal in the end.
