The decor is sophisticated, but the place still feels cozy and comfortable. It’s near some fancy spots like Matadero Madrid, and you can get to anywhere in the city center within 15 minutes by metro. Excellent.

I found this apartment on Airbnb while visiting Madrid for an internship, and I’m honestly glad I did. It’s beautiful and charming, with a style of its own. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, and you can walk to all the essentials. The apartment has everything you could need, and Justine was very helpful. The weekly cleaning service was amazing, thank you!

The sofa bed was dirty and extremely uncomfortable, the whole apartment felt damp, and our feet were black from walking around barefoot. My mother-in-law saw the insect repellent device in the toilet and more products in a drawer for cockroaches, which left us questioning the cleanliness. There were Chinese massage therapist business cards scattered around too, which made me uncomfortable with my family there. The apartment looked well equipped at first, with a washing machine and lots of products, but there were plenty of other problems: the dining room air conditioner was noisy, the coffee table was in rough shape, my daughter got scratched, and the antenna cable was broken in the middle of the room. I’d planned to extend our stay, but after this experience I can’t recommend it. It was a disaster, and next time I’d stay in a hotel for almost the same price.

I needed to be on my own after ending a relationship and losing my best friend to Covid, and this was just the right place to spend New Year’s. It was the best place for that. I could live here for the rest of my life. The apartment is small but has absolutely everything you need, laid out and used so well. Everything is beautiful, practical, and works properly. The bed and pillows are five-star hotel quality or better. The bathroom is large and lovely, with two showers. The lighting is soft and intimate, and having Netflix was essential. I also loved the recycling bins for plastic, metal, and other materials separate from organic waste. The place looks IMPRESSIVE, exactly like the photos, and was spotlessly clean. I only missed having a detergent dispenser and a sponge for washing dishes. The host was very helpful when I arrived. I didn’t meet her in person, but she walked me through checking in by myself without any problems. Everything was clearly explained in the email she sent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
