I woke up with two huge, swollen bite marks. I’d read reviews mentioning mosquitoes, but didn’t expect them to be a problem so close to winter. I hope that’s what they were, anyway. The place looks decent in photos, but I felt unsafe during one of my worst stays. It’s very dark around the building because there isn’t proper lighting. The walls seem like cardboard, so I heard everything next door and couldn’t sleep until late while someone appeared to be partying. Reception is only open limited hours, which I realized later, and they didn’t reply to my messages. Thankfully there was an automated check-in, but it started updating its software just as I arrived.

The bathroom was filthy: brown water came out of the tub, which was full of hair and other stuff. There was also a full body window in the shower. It was frosted, but I could see outside well enough that people in the courtyard could probably see me too. The whole place had a horrible mystery smell. None of the room window shades would close, so there was no privacy, especially in the bedrooms if you don’t want people watching you sleep. I couldn’t recommend staying here any less. Avoid it at all cost.

For about €70 a night, you get a basic, no frills self catering room, pretty much what you paid for. The bed is comfortable and the room clean. Bathroom and kitchen amenities are minimal and a bit dated.

They take pets, and I never had any trouble bringing mine. This is a good aparhotel on Madrid’s outskirts, very close to the highway. It would be nicer if they supplied basic kitchen things like salt, oil, and detergent.
