TH La Florida

The apartment was spacious but dated, and the grounds looked neglected. It reeked of smoke so badly it was almost unbearable. The onsite staff wouldn’t move us to another room and said the smoke smell was out of their control. The cafeteria wasn’t open either. The location was handy for restaurants, but check in by machine was confusing and the key got stuck in the dispenser. There were luggage carts, but no ramp to roll them in, and stairs at the entrance. I wouldn’t recommend staying until they make major renovations.

The room smelled like smoke, and they really should have moved us to one that didn’t smell like a smoker’s room. It was spacious and had a kitchen, but felt a little run down. Our key got stuck in the self check out machine, so we had to wait for someone to come help us.

The rooms are spacious and clean, parking is convenient, and it’s very quiet. But the place feels deserted, almost abandoned. It badly needs some TLC: the electrical sockets are loose, the shower glass panels leak, the lift wasn’t working, and the restaurant was closed. There was no receptionist either.

The staff were hospitable, and the location is pleasant and peaceful. The apartments themselves are a disaster and need renovation. There were ants in our bathroom, and the people in the apartment next door had two dogs that barked constantly.
