The room and bathroom were both quite big, and the price was good for such a nice Madrid location. The fridge makes a bit of noise, but you can turn it off. A good choice in a good spot.

I came back here on my second visit to Madrid because I liked the hostel so much. The room was big and clean, the location was great, and the staff were helpful. I even had a jacuzzi in my bathroom. I’ll stay here again.

The main draw seems to be how central it is. The bathroom is shared by two or more rooms, and the only extras are a TV, air conditioning, and a refrigerator. The outside isn’t inviting, the elevator is cramped, and smoke drifts in through open windows. If you book with a credit card, have it with you at check-in because they’ll ask for it under their policy. That still applies even if they know you and you booked another room a week or so earlier.

A clean, comfortable room in a great spot, within walking distance of the main attractions. I’d recommend it to anyone after an affordable place in Madrid.
