The location was the one good part of this hotel. The room didn’t seem very clean, and during our five-night stay we got no room service. The air conditioning is controlled by the building and only used when it’s extremely hot or cold outside, so it didn’t work for us. We had to leave the windows open to cool the room, but street noise made it hard to sleep that way. I’d spend a couple more dollars somewhere else for a better stay.

I’ve stayed at a couple of other Smart Rental places in Madrid and expected this one to be similar. It was a letdown. The apartment looked nothing like the online photos, with broken floorboards, very cheap furniture, and a curtain that was too small for the window. There’s more I could mention. It was cheap, but still not worth the price. At least I get to leave a generous one-star review. 🤣🤣🤣

For the price, I’d take this spacious studio over a tiny hotel room. It’s right among shops, restaurants, and tourist spots, with several metro stops nearby. The kitchen works fully, and the space is comfortable even for a longer stay, though it’s sized for one person. Soundproofing is poor and some facilities are a bit dated, but everything works. Great value, highly recommend.

We’d been struggling to find reasonably priced accommodation in Madrid and came across this place for a single night. The rate was fair and the location excellent. Since we arrived early in the morning, they kindly let us leave our luggage there for a few hours at no charge. Several Metro stations are close by, and we took the Metro to the airport at

Someone had defecated in the hallway, and it was still there throughout our entire five-day stay. There was no dependable cleaning staff or customer service. Truly disgusting.
