Clean and good value for the money, with public transport and Madrid's main sights within walking distance. It's a good place for a couple of days in the city center. The only downside was some noise from the restaurants and bars next door and across the street.

The neighborhood is the best, and the building has been renovated nicely. The rooms are small but clean. There can be some noise, though you can shut the windows. We had a great time here.

The towels were visibly worn and should be replaced, and the pillow wasn't comfortable. Breakfast costs an extra 10 euros and is served at a partner place beside Hotel Victoria. The hotel is right at Puerta del Sol, in the heart of Madrid, so it's easy to walk to attractions, metro stations, shops, and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with a good shower, plenty of hot water pressure, good WiFi, and a small minibar. It fits the category of the property. Check-in takes place at Hotel Victoria, just a few steps away. That could be confusing if you expect to check in at Windsor, which has no reception, so make sure you know about this.

The location is very convenient, with everything close by. The receptionist and the man were both very friendly, as were the cleaning staff. The room was clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend it.
