The neighborhood is really convenient for tourists, and we walked everywhere. Look for “21” because the sign is very small. Woohoo isn’t a hotel in the usual sense, but they rent out six hotel rooms. Our room, number 5, had been renovated, was very clean, and had a comfortable bed and convenient amenities. The staff were very nice, and the building lift goes up to the third floor where the suites are. I’m not giving five stars because the cleaning detergent smell was too strong for me. Room 5 also needed blackout curtains since I’m very sensitive to light. It faced the inner courtyard and was super quiet for sleeping, but hallway light still came through the double curtains.

The staff were accommodating and helped with transport questions and requests for linens. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is ideal for sightseeing, restaurants and concerts. We’ll be back in Madrid, and WooHoo will get our business again. If you’re a light sleeper, use the earplugs they provide. Spaniards stay up until 3am any night of the week and have fun laughing and joking as they walk home.

The location was central, and my interior room was quiet, though it had no view. Checking in was all self-service, in a normal building. The room called a “junior suite” was very small, so I found the name misleading. There wasn’t an outlet where I could plug in the kettle to make coffee. Worst of all, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I woke with a very bad backache and left a day early. I emailed about it but got no reply.

Cristina and Laura deserve a special mention for helping me communicate about and locate my delayed or missing luggage when I arrived in Madrid. The service was beyond what I expected, and the rooms were high quality in an amazing location. I’d highly recommend staying here in Madrid!

We really enjoyed our stay, and it felt worth every euro. The rooms are clean and modern, the staff are wonderful and always reachable on WhatsApp, and everything is so close by. Such a great place to stay in Madrid, thank you very much!
