Gloria and Santi were wonderful hosts, and the house felt so welcoming, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was homemade, with bread, muffins, cookies, jams, and freshly grated tomato. Honestly, it deserves at least a Michelin star. We had an amazing weekend and would stay here again if we're back in the area.

The breakfasts were spectacular, all homemade: bread, butter, jams, palmeritas with a secret recipe, cookies, and muffins. Gloria and Santi are incredibly hospitable and made us feel even more at home than we do in our own house. The house lacks nothing, from the comfortable memory foam beds and pillows to all the kitchenware you'd need. The bathrooms are modern, the showers have great pressure, and the fireplace is easy to use. We never needed to light it, though, because the temperature in the house was always just right. Add the wonderful house and its surroundings, and this is the best country house in the world. 100 out of 10, since 10 doesn't do it justice.

We stayed last weekend and loved it. The place is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere that helped us relax and enjoy discovering this lovely corner of Guadalajara. The owners clearly put a lot of care and love into it, and it really shows. A huge thank you to them. We'd highly recommend staying here.

The setting is so peaceful, up in the mountains, with a stream behind the property that my two dogs loved. The villages nearby are lovely to visit, and we'll definitely be back. There were two of us staying with our dogs, and we felt right at home. Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness to the plentiful, delicious homemade breakfasts. The owners were friendly and attentive. I'd call this a must-do, not just a place to recommend. Thank you so much.

The owners greeted us with freshly baked bread, pastries, and milk for breakfast during our stay. The house has everything you need, and if anything's missing, just call Gloria and Santi :D. El Pajar Negro is a perfect base for visiting the Black Villages area and the Tejera Negra Beech Forest.
