I booked through Booking.com because the listing said car parking was available. Later, they told me on WhatApp that they had no car park availability, so I cancelled and asked for a refund. They refused. I then asked them to reinstate the booking, but they refused that too. They won’t let me stay and don’t want to refund me.

They charge extra for late check-in: €20 after 8pm and €35 after 11pm. Seriously? I’ve never had that happen anywhere else. Wouldn’t recommend booking with them.

The apartment was much better than I feared after reading the reviews. Our room was clean and roomy, and being a duplex made it especially nice. The complex has lots of rooms, so maybe we just got lucky, but ours was a good one. The landlady was kind, too, and waived the deposit when we mentioned we had an early morning checkout.
