We were excited to stay, whatever the name. On booking.com it was listed as Casa de Alma, which caused some confusion. The rooms and shared spaces were super cute, and the green flags before arrival quickly turned to mold. A miscommunication with the manager meant we arrived while our room was still being cleaned. We waited maybe 30-45 minutes, then checked in. We noticed a little green mold above the shower but didn't think it was too bad. Exhausted from days of travel, we napped. Once the cleaning product smell faded, the room smelled damp and mildewy. The change from the hall to the room was obvious, both in smell and humidity. Looking more closely, we found several mold spots we hadn't seen before, including the biggest one under a piece of furniture. We packed up and left after about 3-4 hours. We messaged the property manager on Whatsapp, and they seemed shady, reading our messages, marking them unread, and not replying. They waited until we'd told them we had other accommodations before responding to our main messages about the mold. For the refund, they told us how to get a full refund through booking.com. We followed the steps, then they said we could only get a partial refund because we hadn't done it. We insisted that we had, and they finally refunded us in full. It was a total headache. Hope no one else has to stay in room 2.

A traditional Andalusian house converted into apartments, with the original features and tiles still there. The apartments are well equipped, quiet and comfortable, and the location is great with good value for money. Just note that they don't provide basics like coffee, tea, oil, salt or sugar. There are no staff on site, and everything is handled through whatsapp or booking, but that worked well.

Eduardo let us leave our luggage until the afternoon after checkout and gave us good suggestions for places to eat. The apartment was beautiful, small, and very central, with everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The bathroom is small but fine, though the shower curtain attacks you when you turn on the water. Highly recommend it, ideal for a couple.

The Wi-Fi failed completely on our second day, and the noise made it impossible to sleep. Even with the window shut, we could hear people outside because the insulation was so poor. The apartment was dark and dirty, with a small, uncomfortable bed and a cramped, grimy shower. We stayed two nights, and it was a disaster. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We’d happily stay here again. The owners were really kind and accommodating, and the house was clean, comfortable, and lovely. It’s close to the center on a quiet side street, which made for a great stay.
