Hotel Carlos V Málaga

Everything's about a five-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants nearby, right in the city centre. This hotel is underrated. The room was average in size but very clean, and the bathroom spotless. Service was amazing, with polite, helpful staff at reception and in the dining area. They also offer a good breakfast at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

For the price, it's truly amazing, even though the hotel isn't new. The location is awesome, and the woman at reception was kind and friendly. The room was clean and, most importantly, quiet. Breakfast could be better, though. I'd book the room without it and eat somewhere else.

The room was quiet and clean, and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel is old and dated, with dark rooms and noisy air conditioning. It's a great location in Malaga's historic district, but the price is very high for what you get, so it isn't good value. We booked because they said they had storage for our bikes while we were bike touring. On arrival it seemed to be a problem, but they eventually found a tiny space.

Jesús greeted us warmly and gave us excellent suggestions for planning our visit, which made a real difference to our time in Málaga. We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Carlos V. The room was clean and a little small, but the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. A well-kept hotel in a great central spot.
