The apartment looked much better in the pictures than it did in real life. The shared area for the three apartments run by the same agency hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the carpet was filthy. Inside, the walls were dirty and needed repainting. The kitchen cupboard and bathroom had a really strong, unpleasant smell. Air fresheners we bought didn’t do much. The duvet had stains, and so did the duvet cover. The kettle, washing machine and toilet brush were dirty, and the apartment hadn’t been cleaned properly before we arrived. We raised the problems with the agency. They replaced the duvet, duvet cover and toilet brush, explained that the property couldn’t do anything about the smell, and offered extra cleaning. I’ve seen the agency give the same response to bad comments, saying they could send extra cleaners if they’d known about the problem. I think things should be done properly in the first place. On vacation, I’d rather not have to deal with the agency. A good customer experience means getting it right from the start. The location is great, and everything is within walking distance, but the narrow streets are busy with people and can be loud. I didn’t mind that, though it’s worth checking Google Maps street view. The Wi-Fi worked fine for everyday use. The weather was mild, so we didn’t use the AC and can’t say how well it works.

The flat was spacious, and having two bedrooms with large double beds plus two bathrooms felt like a real luxury. Both beds were comfortable, and we slept quietly even though the road outside was energetic. Management responded quickly, were attentive, and explained everything clearly. The main entrance had a bit of a drain smell, though I think they were doing work on it. We also couldn’t figure out the hob, so some instructions for future guests might help. A super place, and very well situated.

The apartment was cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed. I had a wonderful stay. It’s close enough to the centre to walk there, and I’d highly recommend the place.

There’s only a broom and dustpan for cleaning, so for a longer stay it would be nice to have a vacuum cleaner available, even on request. The apartment itself is modern, spacious and has everything needed for a short or long visit. It’s within walking distance of the centre and near a bus station for anyone who doesn’t feel like walking. Staff were friendly, and communication was smooth when needed.
