The person who handed over the keys was so welcoming, and the place had everything I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. It was spotless when I arrived, with the cleaner having left just 10 minutes earlier. I was here for work and really enjoyed the stay. I’ve already asked my company to keep it in mind for future business trips.

Being just a couple of minutes from Calle Larios made getting around easy, and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, they’d left tea and coffee, and since the apartment was ready, we were allowed to check in three hours early. The main trouble was the bathroom. There’s no window and the little fan barely works, so there was a persistent bad smell. The toilet also needed at least two flushes, and the paper often wouldn’t go down. We were left only two toilet rolls and had to buy more. It was dark inside, with just a small window opposite the bed, and there was nowhere to hang wet swimsuits. Cleaning hadn’t been great either: we found hairs, especially in the bathroom, crumbs on the floor, squashed insects on the wall and yellow stains that were still there. Some towels were dirty. We could hear noise from outside and other apartments through the thin walls and even the front door. On our first day, workers were hammering at 12:30 while we were trying to sleep. It’s on the third floor, up very steep stairs with loose handrails and no lift. For the price, the place needs a lot of improvement.

We had to leave the room straight away. The bed still had used sheets, the table and floor had dried liquid and food bits, and the cutting board and sink were filthy. There was paper inside the Bayer cooler, its water was dirty with something, and shoe marks were on the shower and bath towel. A horrible experience.
