There’s a beautiful cat here ❤️ The place is cozy, very clean, and close to the attractions in the city centre. The room was good, though the mattress could be better. My main complaint is the bathroom: it isn’t enclosed at the top, so it doesn’t feel private or hygienic.

The owner’s attitude was very unprofessional. At 10 AM, he had a company start drilling and the hotel basically became a construction site, with no warning beforehand. I was working from my room and had Teams meetings, so I asked how long the noise would go on. He said, “You rented a room to sleep, nothing else. This is my property, I can do whatever I want.” He offered no solution and somehow made the disruption sound like my fault. Very arrogant owner.

We loved the room’s colorful, unusual design, and the antique-style shower head was a charming touch. It was a calm escape from the city, while still being close to the main tourist spots. The Wi-Fi was fast, too. Staff were lovely and accommodating: they let us leave our luggage before check-in and were flexible with our schedule. Their English made everything easy to communicate. We’d highly recommend staying here and will definitely return.

The rooms may not have modern insulation or every current amenity, since this is a distinctive historic place. Still, it’s a lovely, picturesque hotel that looks like a Moorish riad, with kind, incredibly helpful staff. You can walk to everything in Málaga. I think it’s ideal for a couple or someone traveling alone.
