Gran Hotel Elba Estepona Thalasso & Spa

We had a great time at Elba Estepona, and the food at Roma and Andalus was extremely good. The lobby bar snacks were tasty too, with generous portions. All the staff were so friendly, especially Yasmin & Nicoletta at the lobby bar, who were professional and lovely to chat with. We even got a nice surprise bottle of Prosecco for my partner’s birthday. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely look to book again.

We wished spa access had been included, though we paid separately and enjoyed it enough to feel it was worth the extra cost. The rest of our stay at Elba Hotel was a real highlight. The resort is right on the beach, and the pool’s sea view was stunning. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff were kind, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Most nights there was live music in the lobby, which made the evenings feel warm and relaxed. Breakfast had loads of fresh, delicious choices. We miss it already and would happily come back, with great memories of the beautiful place, lovely atmosphere, and amazing service.

I didn’t stay at the hotel, just came to see the spa and then had coffee and a sandwich at the bar and combination cafe. The lobby is beautiful and nicely decorated, and the reception staff were very pleasant. But the woman serving was busy flirting with a man at the bar and hardly had time for us. Even in a five star restaurant, if a customer drops a knife, you’d expect the waiter to bring a replacement. She didn’t, and kept laughing and entertaining the only guest at the bar. One bad experience like that is enough to lose a customer for good. I won’t patronize this place again. Quite a shame.

Our stay was fantastic, and we had a great sea view from the room. The service was excellent throughout, especially from Pedro in the restaurant, who was exceptional. We also really enjoyed Mario’s live music on Friday and Saturday evening.
