I was there, it’s a clean place in a good location, just a little far from the city centre.

We left after just one night of the five we’d booked. The room was infested with bedbugs in the sheets and on the headboard, and we didn’t sleep a wink. I only realized what was going on when I found one on my shirt. The staff wouldn’t answer the phone, so we had to spend the night there. In the morning they offered to clean the room, saying there were no others available, but we left immediately. I’ve never experienced anything like it, and the staff didn’t seem particularly concerned. They also cancelled our stay on Booking.com and wouldn’t let us leave a review. I definitely don’t recommend it.

The location’s a little far from the city centre, but it’s about a 25-minute walk, and there are excellent bus connections to the beach and centre. Tickets cost €1.40. We had a great time in Malaga and I’d definitely stay again. The studio was small but excellent, more than enough for us, with a comfortable bed, everything clean, and towels provided. It had everything we needed, and the service was very good. If you fancy a nice walk and seeing more of Malaga, I recommend it.

The landlord made remote check-in and check-out easy and was really helpful. The rate was reasonable too, €160 for two nights. The room itself had some drawbacks: street noise came straight through the windows because it faces a main road and they aren't double-glazed. The bathroom door wouldn't shut properly, and the pillows were tiny and very soft. The furniture felt cheap, and the desk even had a floppy disk drive! 😅
