Feel Hostels Soho Malaga

The bathroom smelled bad all the time, the Wi-Fi in our room didn't work, and we had to take ice-cold showers because there was no hot water. The air conditioner also had to stay off, even though it was 30°C outside, after it leaked so much water that the room smelled strongly of damp. We couldn't open the windows either. When we first arrived, water covered the whole floor, including under the beds and around the chairs and table. It had clearly been dripping for hours. At reception, the staff member seemed uninterested, said it shouldn't be happening, and gave us one towel to mop it up. That wasn't nearly enough. When we returned to say everything was still wet, we got one more towel. No one came to inspect the room, call a cleaner, or offer another room, so we cleaned it ourselves. At checkout, four employees were at reception, all on their phones, and they were rude and unhelpful. The staff felt unfriendly and uninterested throughout. It was a very unpleasant stay, and I wouldn't recommend this hostel. Hygiene, maintenance, and staff politeness need urgent attention.

The hostel has a great location, clean surroundings, and nice rooms. My bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and breakfast is available inside. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were really nice and willing to help, which I loved. The room was quite small, though, and the toilet door had unusually large holes at both the top and bottom. Its lock didn't work properly, the hairdryer was a bit broken, and the heater barely worked, so it got really cold at night. We were only there for one night, and for €52 the room was good enough. For a longer stay it might not be the best choice, but it's a decent option if you want somewhere affordable in a good location.

The reception staff are very friendly, but the room quality doesn't match the high prices. The beds wobble, the AC is poor, and the door is so loud it wakes everyone up. The toilet door has no handle, so you have to pull it from the top. Security also didn't feel great: the entrance to the rooms corridor doesn't lock automatically, so a stranger could walk in. Honest review.
