Online check-in is offered, but it didn’t work at all. I wonder why they have the option. We’d called to ask whether we could arrive early, check in, and leave our luggage. They said of course. We got there on the morning of 21 February, and the receptionist clearly didn’t understand English. She wanted to photocopy our passports. We firmly refused and said she could enter the details into the system, but not make a copy. She said she wouldn’t check us in without a copy. How can you say that to a paying customer? We asked her to call the manager, who of course wasn’t there. Then she said she’d keep the passport and write down the details. In the end, she copied the information from it straight away. Having a receptionist who understood English would have been enough. I’ve stayed in lots of places but never met such arrogance. You can’t walk to the airport from this hotel, only get there by taxi or car. It’s beside a highway and very noisy. I’ll choose somewhere else next time.

Pablo at the front desk was kind, attentive, and helpful. He even put up with my attempts to speak Spanish, lol. We went back after checking in to ask for two extra pillows and a blanket, and he took care of it right away. He also looked after us at the restaurant. We ordered a margarita pizza and were pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted. Mucho gracias Pablo. 👏👏

The room was very basic but acceptable for one night, and big enough for one or two people. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick. Breakfast was a bit better, with budget-style choices, but acceptable. It’s a budget hotel, and the name is telling the truth. Avoid the so-called restaurant. The food is just reheated frozen meals at overpriced rates, so look elsewhere or eat before you arrive. I don’t know the actual price since I didn’t pay, but if it’s under 70€ including breakfast, that would be my maximum. Any more and I’d go elsewhere. It’s not somewhere I’d choose for a special trip or occasion. The surrounding area is commercial and not nice for a walk. There’s a very busy motorway nearby, so the air quality is very poor. The interior insulation did a decent job cutting out almost all the noise.
