We found the area quiet and felt safe, and the staff knew it well. They were friendly and glad to help us with our Spanish. When I asked, they even found a phone charger for me to borrow. We arrived before check-in, so they checked whether our room might be ready. It wasn't, but we could leave our bags in a secure locker and come back later. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from Málaga Centro Almeda station and the town centre. We skipped the on-site cafetería because we wanted to find breakfast in town, though it looked busy and its offers seemed good. We've stayed at Ibis Budget hotels before and this one didn't disappoint.

The room was compact but had everything we needed, and the buffet breakfast kept getting replenished. What really stood out was the staff: cheerful, courteous, and very helpful. The location is excellent for visiting the city of malaga. I can highly recommend this hotel.

I was out all day, so I only needed somewhere quiet and comfortable to shower and rest. The room was small, but just right for me travelling alone. I walked everywhere and never needed public transport. Breakfast runs from 6,30-11,30, with an express option for 6 euro. Tea and water are free anytime, and there's a microwave. You can borrow a hairdryer or iron with a 10 euro deposit. They also have gluten free bread.

There isn't much in the room apart from a TV, but it has a private shower and toilet and is clean and fine for a few nights. For a budget hotel, it's a great option. Breakfast is a good start to the day, and the buffet comes with better coffee.
