Iloftmalaga San José

The rooms are very basic and the bathroom is shared. The supposed shared kitchen is a myth: the fridge and microwave are filthy, and there isn’t a single thing to use, not even cups, plates or pots. It’s very noisy too, with doors banging and noise from outside.

I’ve stayed here a few times, and the location is a big plus. The staff are pleasant to deal with, and although the facilities are basic, they’re clean. These old buildings can echo, so I’d bring earplugs.

These are traditional Spanish rooms, very basic but nicely presented and really clean. The cleaner comes every day and everything is spotless. Staff were friendly. The man who checked us in was polite, and getting in and out was very easy. Sure, there are things someone could complain about, but that seems unrealistic given the excellent location and great price. This isn’t a hotel or a bed and breakfast, just a room with a bathroom and kitchen facilities. I recommend it and will definitely stay again. I’ve lived and travelled around a lot of Spain and loved it here.
